Samsung Z4 with Tizen 3.0 OS launched in India at Rs. 5,790.



Samsung Tizen powered Z4 smartphone has been launched in India. Samsung Z4 with Tizen OS will be priced at Rs 5,790 and it will go on sale from May 19. Samsung says that along with the gold back cover, all users will get an additional black colour cover inside the box.

Speaking about the Samsung Z4 place in the Indian market as a first smartphone for those looking to upgrade from a feature phone, Asim warsi Senior Vice President Samsung India Electronics said "With more than 500 million feature phone users, India has immense potential for smartphone upgrade. As the market leader, we at Samsung consider it our priority to facilitate this journey towards smartphones. Our affordable Tizen series has been instrumental in catalysing the smartphone upgrade and with Z4, we will offer yet another compelling product to affordable segment consumers."

Samsung Z4 Specifications

The Samsung Z4 has 4.5-inch WVGA display with 2.5D curved glass on top which offers the device its premium look as well as protection. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device has 8GB of internal storage onboard, which is further expandable up to 128GB. In the pack, Samsung Z4 comes with two inter changeable back cover options in black and gold.

The smartphone houses a 2,050mAh battery accompanied by Samsung Ultra Power Saving Mode to maximize battery hours. Samsung Z4 connectivity suite includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, GPS, and GLONASS. It runs on Tizen OS 3.0 and comes preloaded apps with features like S Bike mode, My Money Transfer and others.
